
A 24-year-old man was arrested by the Jeppe SAPS for fatally shooting his father.
The SAPS received a call on October 27 about a murder in Belgravia at about 2.45pm
When the officers arrived at the address, they found a 53-year-old man lying dead in a pool of blood.
It is alleged the deceased had an argument his son, who shot him twice in the chest and head. The man died at the scene.
Warrant officer Richard Munyayi said the suspect fled the scene but later called his brother to inform him that he had killed his father.
The suspect later handed himself over to the police, where he was charged with murder.
He will appear in court soon and police investigations are continuing.
