
The Jeppe SAPS is appealing to the community to help trace a suspect in a house breaking case.
On Saturday, November 1, a 33-year-old man left his house in Ekuphupheni Village in Troyeville.
He left the house at about 6.30am, locked the house and left one of the windows slightly opened.
According to Warrant Officer Richard Munyayi, the Jeppe SAPS police spokesperson, when the victim returned at around 5pm he found that a window was wide open.
On entering the house, he discovered that some of his goods and R2 500 was missing. He went to check the CCTV cameras and it was discovered that a suspect had gained entry through a window.
“We are appealing to anyone who can recognise the suspect to contact the investigating officer, Constable Mahlako Sebothoma, on 073 641 0300 or 011-624-6021.
