Toy Story brings smiles to children
Joining the volunteer team was Jacaranda FM's Mr Barney Simon, who shared the joy among the children as well as members of the foundation.
The Toy Story with Game initiative conducted its first toy distribution to the New Beginnings Care Centre in Boksburg on November 4.
Game’s electronic media manager, Ms Bernie Joshua said, “We are blown away with the support our customers have given to this project. Customers can see that their contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of children who need it most and we are truly humbled at the support we received. We also hope our customers are enjoying the convenience that Game offers as a collection and donation point and we look forward to seeing how many more toys can be collected before Christmas.”
Joining the volunteer team was Jacaranda FM’s Mr Barney Simon, who shared the joy among the children as well as members of the foundation.
Members of the public can make a difference by purchasing a new toy and dropping it off at any one of the 31 participating Game stores in the province, including Game Brooklyn, Centurion, Kolonnade, Mall @ Reds, Menlyn, Pretoria CBD, Woodlands and Wonderpark.
