Arts and culture awards handed out

Kyra Smith was the recipient of the Plunkett Trophy for Service to the Music Department.

Holy Rosary Primary School recently held its end-of-year arts and culture assembly, acknowledging pupils for their achievements in this realm.

Monica Grispan was the recipient of the Sue Pritt Trophy for Excellence in Drama and the Saunders Trophy for Outstanding Lead Performance.

She jointly received the Saunders Trophy with Nicole Pataco.

Rixongile Chauke received the Most Promising Senior Marimba Player trophy.

Caitlin Davies received the Laraine Roberts Trophy for the Most Promising Orchestral Instrumentalist.

Lia Nichas was jointly awarded the Thomas Trophy for Outstanding Instrumentalist with Tina Endrulenas.

Genevieve Kleynhans was the recipient of the Gibson Musicianship Trophy and Claudia Agostinetto was awarded the Giustizieri Trophy for the Most Promising Vocalist.
