Louca in court

The trial date of George Louca started this morning when he appears in court on charges of murder.

The trial date was set for January 26 to March 6.

Louca appeared in court in connection with the murder of Teazers boss, Mr Lolly Jackson, a resident of Bedfordview.

He also faces charges of unlawfully possessing a firearm and unlawfully possessing ammunition.

Louca fled South Africa and returned to his hometown of Limassol in Cyprus, shortly after Mr Jackson’s murder in May 2010 in Kempt0n Park.

Louca returned to South Africa last year after a drawn out extradition process and losing his final appeal in the Supreme Court of Cyprus.
