Officers from the Edenvale SAPS Detective branch recovered a large amount of stolen goods from a residential property in Alexandra this afternoon.

The officers involved in the recovery were following up on information received after a house robbery in Marais Steyn Park on Saturday night.

At the property, officers also found three firearms, one of which was taken during a robbery in Norwood.

Victims of the Saturday night robbery arrived at the police station and were able to identify several items which were taken.

One arrest was made.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.
