The ANC’s mayoral candidate Mzwandile Masina has been elected as mayor for the City of Ekurhuleni.
In it’s inaugural council meeting Mzwandile Masina received 117 votes while Ghaleb Cachalia received 106 votes for the position.
#Ekurhuleni speaker’s proposed not agreed to – will be separate voting procedure for mayor and chief whip. IEC to assist in voting process.
