It was entertainment galore at the recent Unified Cultural Showcase, hosted by St Benedict’s College.
This much anticipated annual event showcases the best of the school’s cultural talent from grade 1 to 12 in one event.
The evening began and ended with the excitement of the Preparatory and College Rock Bands respectively.
Parents and participants were entertained by various items, which included speeches, English and Afrikaans poetry, choral verse, mime, music – solo, choir and marimba, mono/duologues and movement.
The Visual Arts display, featuring items from grade 1 to 11 pupils, drew attention and discussion.
The event has grown in quality every year as the items and standards supersede expectations.
