Johannesburg East SAPS members were recently acknowledged for their good work.
Officers were rewarded for making arrests and for securing convictions.
They received certificates from acting cluster commander, Brigadier Azwinndini Nengovhela.
Jeppe SAPS spokesperson Captain Richard Munyai said officers received certificates of appreciation at Yeoville SAPS during the cluster management meeting.
Nengovhela applauded the police and said, “I hope they will continue to make arrests and secure convictions.
“Other police officers will follow suit and make this cluster a safe area for our community,” said Nengovhela.
