The EXPRESS aims to introduce the police officers serving the Joburg East areas to the community.
Lt Col Lowin Maholovela is acting Vispol (visible policing) commander at Jeppe SAPS.
Maholovela joined the police service in 1983.
“My job entails ensuring that police officers report for work on time, wearing uniform. I make sure that officers attend to complaints,” he said.
