At least six people were injured in a multiple vehicle crash on the N12 before Gillooly’s interchange in Bedfordview this morning.

When ER24 arrived on the scene just before 11am, traffic was severely backed up in that area. ER24 treated and transported six patients who sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.

Two other medical services on the scene also transported patients, the exact number is unclear at this stage.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are not known and will form part of a police investigation.
