Visit Rhodes Park and do some yoga
I heard it helped tremendously. I am now 61 and Yoga has become part of my life.

Three Kensington residents Colleen Dawson, Debbie Marcisz, Lindi Richer offer yoga classes at Rhodes Park every Saturday morning.
The three said hosting yoga classes is another way of bringing the community together.
“The previous chairperson of Kensington Residents and Ratepayers Association (KRRA) Brendon Burmeister and former Kensington residents Dawn and Ralf Meysel wanted to see people using Rhodes Park more. We thought yoga classes will help as people will use the park more. We also want to introduce the joy of yoga to people that may not have the opportunity otherwise to do yoga.

“Yoga is about moving your body with your breath, becoming aware of your movement and breathing. Whether you are old or young, male or female, as long as you are breathing then yoga is for you.
“Each person in class does what they can with their own body and its abilities and constraints. We hope to encourage people to breathe and move more, for their health and their general well-being.”
Marcisz said she learned about yoga before she fell pregnant.
“I heard it helped tremendously. I am now 61 and yoga has become part of my life,” she said.
Dawson started yoga as a teenager, partly for the exercise and partly for the meditative aspects of yoga.
She said both exercise and meditation are important to her in her daily life.
“It helps me feel well and productive in all aspects of life.”
The three said they would like to see more people joining the classes.
“It is absolutely free. All they have to do is to bring their own towel or mat to lie on,” said Dawson.
