Edenvale’s policing district has four policing sectors and the responsibility of managing and co-ordinating the sectors are the duty of WO Jimmy Masilela.
As Edenvale’s sector co-ordinator, Masilela is a link between the SAPS and the community.
He is responsible for planing special operations with Edenvale’s sector managers, planning meetings with residents, members of Edenvale Community Police Forum and security companies.
In addition to liaising with the community, Masilela also provides SAPS management with the statistics of each sector.
