Edenvale resident George Gordon (33) suffered a series of strokes in July last year and has since fought his way back despite doctors’ initial suggestion that he should be placed in a nursing home.

His progress since is evident in videos shared by his fiancée on social media. Watch the videos below.

George, an active member of CrossFit Fire Bolt in Bedfordview, had a normal day at the gym when he suffered multiple strokes while working out on July 25 last year.

He was 32 years old at the time and he was in ICU for five weeks.
