Man arrested for selling drugs from Edenvale convenience store

Officers seized drugs to the value of approximately R10,000 including khat, cocaine rocks, and crystal methamphetamine.

A special operation conducted by the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit yesterday morning, December 6, resulted in the arrest of a man selling narcotics from a convenience store in Edenvale.

Officers seized drugs to the value of approximately R10,000 including khat, cocaine rocks, and crystal methamphetamine.

The convenience store is located on Van Riebeeck Avenue.

The 45-year-old suspect was detained at Edenvale Police Station charged with possession and dealing in narcotics.

He is expected to appear in the Edenvale Magistrate’s Court today.
