UPDATE: Dowerglen High School learner received advanced life support for “wounds resembling gunshots” – ER24

"Paramedics treated him and provided him with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to a nearby hospital."

An 18-year-old boy was seriously injured this afternoon when he was hit by what appears to be stray bullets at a school in Dowerglen, Edenvale.

According to Russel Meiring from ER24, paramedics arrived on the scene to find the boy lying in the clinic of the school.

Paramedics assessed the boy and found that he had sustained wounds resembling gunshots to his chest and arm, leaving him in a serious condition.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known.
