A robbery at a law firm on Boeing Road in Bedfordview resulted in a shootout earlier today.

Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson Capt Andre De Jager said that three males entered the Boeing Road business premises and held the occupants at gunpoint.

“One of the men present at the law firm had a gun. We are not certain who fired the first shots but there was shoot-out at the business, “said De Jager.

He added that one person who was at the law firm sustained injuries during the gunfire exchange.

“The three men escaped with cell phones, laptops and jewellery,” said De Jager.

De Jager said the SAPS would investigate a case of business robbery.
