Arabella Foundation launches with a high tea

Businesses that would like to advertise are welcome to join in the high tea.

A new non-profit company, Arabella Foundation NPC, is dedicated to helping children and will launch on November 23.

The launch will be a high tea focused on celebrating heroines from the East Rand community.

Guest speakers and judges will be Edith Venter, an entrepreneur, author and philanthropist; Shamila Ramjawan, Mrs Johannesburg 2019; and Mooniba Bhayat of Dare to be Empowered.

All proceeds from the launch will go towards purchasing menstrual cups with a 10-year life span for underprivileged girls.

One school will receive the PrincessD Menstrual Cups by a division of Famram Solutions (Pty) Ltd in partnership with the Caster Semenya Foundation.

Community members are urged to nominate a woman who goes above and beyond helping others.

Send a brief motivation of the woman’s contribution and her details to heroinesNominations@gmail.com

Closing date for nominations is today, November 20.
