Halloween fun in Hurlyvale

On October 31 community members dressed up for Halloween and enjoyed an afternoon of trick or treating as the visited various homes.

Ghosts and ghouls made an appearance in Edenvale as they took to the streets of the Hurlyvale East and Buurendal Residents Association road enclosure.

As a result of the Covid-19 virus this year’s trick or treat event went a little differently.

It saw the revellers visit a variety of houses rather than the trunks of cars as per the usual trunk or treat.

This was done as a preventative measure as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
