This new system, which involves the entire matric group, is a far more learner-driven, focused and opportunity-based system. It provides an opportunity for all to demonstrate their worth and make a positive contribution to the life of the school.
This followed after many years of considering different methods to overhaul the existing leadership programme.
Following a brainstorming session at the 2021 leadership camp, the learners presented portfolios that appealed to them and adopted their areas of interest and focus for 2022.

All learners then voted for the members of the judiciary that they wanted to represent them, along with house captains for each house.
Each committee then elected three leaders, their chairperson, vice-chair and administrator via secret ballot to structure the senior executive council.
Matric learners will each drive a designated portfolio and work together to add value to the school and students.
