Bedfordview police unite with entities to fight illegal connections

A joint operation targeted illegal electricity connections in the Mabondeni informal settlement on April 15.

The Bedfordview SAPS, the Public Order Policing Unit, the EMPD, the Anti-Cable Theft units from the Eastern and Northern regions, technicians and the labour and energy departments focused on removing the illegal connections.

Disconnected cables were removed and loaded into three vans.
