Disruption at Van Buuren Road off-ramp due to alleged shooting incident

CPF confirms an active crime scene in Bedfordview as motorists are urged to avoid the area.

An alleged shooting incident at the Van Buuren Road off-ramp in Bedfordview caused traffic delays on the afternoon of 25 November.
The SAPS has not yet confirmed or commented on the incident.

The incident was reported at approximately 16:30.

Emergency personnel and local crime prevention units responded, and the area has reportedly been secured as an active scene pending verification.

A source on the scene said officials are awaiting the arrival of forensic teams.
