Son of Klopperpark businessman kidnapped says Bedfordview SAPS

Bedfordview SAPS is appealing for information after the son of a Klopperpark businessman was allegedly kidnapped.

Bedfordview SAPS is appealing for information following the alleged kidnapping of a businessman’s son in Klopperpark on September 5.

According to Bedfordview SAPS communication liaison Sergeant Lillian Modiga, the incident occurred on Kruin Street.

“It is alleged that the son of the owner of a bottle store in Klopperpark was standing outside the business when four men approached him,” said Modiga.

They allegedly grabbed the victim and forced him into a white Toyota Quantum before driving away.

Modiga said the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the investigation to contact Bedfordview SAPS.

The investigation is ongoing, and further information will be communicated as it becomes available.
