A man who was kidnapped in Klopperpark was released, according to the Bedfordview police.

The Bedfordview Edenvale News reported on September 5 that the police were appealing for information after the son of a businessman in Klopperpark had been kidnapped.

The Bedfordview SAPS communication liaison officer, Sergeant Lillian Modiga, confirmed that the man who had been kidnapped on September 5 was dropped off in Vosloorus on September 16.
She added that he was safe.

“The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Further information will be communicated once it is available and can be confirmed,” said Modiga.
