Edenglen High learners shine at festival

Edenglen High School competed in the South African Guild of Speech and Drama Festival where its learners shone.

The team event, held on February 19, saw four learners namely Sanchia Francis, Raymond Mwale, Gabi Fraser and Zuzingce Rwayi represent the school.

Other schools which participated in the festival were Saheti School, King David School and Saint Benedict’s College.

Edenglen High School’s public relations and marketing coordinator Itumeleng Gwangwa said the school’s speakers did incredibly well.

“The speakers were commended for reminding us of the importance of human interaction and connection. They were awarded a B symbol,” said Itumeleng.
