Career expo visits East Rand schools
"It was beautiful, well presented, and made it easy for me to decide what I want to do after high school."
The latest school to benefit from the Rocking Future Career Expos was Rand Preparatory and College.
The Rocking Future Career Expos are dedicated to helping South African school leavers choose the best career path to develop their skills and find employment in a country with a critically high youth unemployment rate.
They are on tour in the East Rand.

Learner Lilitha Igwe said the presentation was worth it.

Aisleyne MacKenzie also found the expo to be an enriching experience.
“I loved the experience. Everyone was friendly and funny. The great variety of universities available made the experience even better,” she said.

Through the career expos, the Rocking Future team, together with a top-class selection of tertiary educational organisations, assist learners in understanding the options available and deciding what careers suit their personality, skills and ambitions.
“I loved the many available universities that came here. It made me feel reassured that the future wasn’t so scary. Thank you for coming,” said another learner, Keren Awoh.
