Bedfordview dancers shine at World Cup qualifiers
Bedfordview’s finest dancers shined at Dance World Cup Qualifiers and are set to represent South Africa in Spain.
Dancers of Lucia Cunningham Dance Academy in Bedfordview showcased their immense talent and secured top placements at the prestigious Dance World Cup Qualifiers in Pretoria from March 17 to 22.
Their performances earned them the honour of representing South Africa at the Dance World Cup in Spain later this year.
The qualifiers, dance teacher Lucia Cunningham explained, drew many of the nation’s most promising young dancers, each hoping to perform on the world stage.

“The dancing academy stood out with multiple wins across various sections, proving their dedication, skill, and passion for dance.
The upcoming Dance World Cup in Spain will be a significant milestone for the dancers, offering them competition against the best in the world while representing South Africa on an international platform,” she said.
