Ekurhuleni opens mini dump sites to fight illegal dumping
Residents encouraged to use free sites for garden and general waste to help keep the city clean.
The City of Ekurhuleni has established over 30 mini dump sites to combat illegal dumping and provide residents with a convenient way to dispose of garden waste.
Several mini dump sites are available for free disposal of general, non-hazardous solid waste. Residents can help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills by using these sites.
The mini dumpsites accept recyclable waste, including garden waste, and residents are encouraged to compost garden waste for fertiliser in their gardens.
