Bedfordview worker injured in billboard fall near N3 underpass
A worker who fell from a billboard is making a full recovery after the RAG Bedfordview arranged for him to be taken to the hospital.
On the afternoon of January 6, the Residents Action Group (RAG) Bedfordview rushed to the scene of an accident where a worker was injured in a fall from a billboard.
The billboard is on Penhurst Avenue, near the Boeing Road N3 underpass.
The community security NPO reported that the worker was taken to the hospital. RAG stated, “Thank you to everyone who helped, including emergency responders Chris Morris and Enrico Gasparini.”

When The News followed up on the incident the next day, the RAG said they had been told that the injured worker would make a full recovery.
“Unfortunately, the RAG doesn’t have any additional information about whether he was using the necessary safety equipment or what exactly happened.”
Having been an integral part of the community for more than two decades, the NPO said it is proud to be the go-to provider most residents contact for assistance with so many things, from car accidents, security incidents, alarms, fires, and suspicious people, to medical emergencies, lost pets, and bad drivers.
“We always respond quickly and efficiently. That’s what happened in the case of this injured worker. We are happy to have gotten there quickly and been able to help him.”
