Residents host high tea to support children fighting cancer
Residents of Thornhill Manor proved that a simple cup of tea can make a significant difference when they came together to support children fighting cancer. The high tea event was held at the end of April. The village hosted a morning tea that saw a wonderful turnout of 41 residents. Sylvia Sinclair, Val Corin, Lorna Turner and Priscilla Randall. A sense of warmth and elegance defined the morning. Tables were adorned with floral arrangements donated by resident Dawn Burls, adding a special touch. As always, the highlight for many was the catering; the tea ladies served a beautiful array of delicious treats, lovingly prepared for the occasion. The funds raised will go directly toward Choc’s mission of providing comprehensive support to children with cancer and their families, ensuring that the generosity shown at Thornhill Manor reaches those who need it most.
