Quondam Village residents enjoy Women’s Day high tea
Quondam Village residents relax, chat and savour delicious treats at Woman’s Day high tea organised by the entertainment committee.
When a community of ladies comes together to host a social event, a fun time is sure to be on the cards.
The Quondam Village entertainment committee organised a delightful high tea to celebrate Women’s Day on August 10, and according to Quondam Village Trust manager Neeri Stroebel, it certainly lived up to the anticipation.
She noted that the committee members worked tirelessly to decorate the community centre in beautiful shades of green and white.

The vibrant decor set a fresh and inviting atmosphere that greeted the residents as they arrived.
Stroebel added, “Everyone was pleasantly surprised by the transformation and eager to spend the morning together.”
The event featured an array of bite-sized eats, perfect for nibbling, and an assortment of teas to sip on. The residents took this opportunity to relax, chat, and savour the delicious treats.
The atmosphere was buzzing with laughter and conversation, as old friends reconnected and new friendships blossomed.
Manuela, one of the attendees, expressed her gratitude by saying, “Big thanks to the organisers. It was a special treat and a memorable event.” Another resident, Diana, echoed this sentiment, adding, “It was a fantastic success.”

Stroebel said that the social and entertainment committee members play a vital role in the life of Quondam Village.
“They handle much of the behind-the-scenes work to ensure events like this one come to fruition. Their dedication sends a clear message: when a community joins together, amazing things happen.”
The manager admitted that this special Women’s Day celebration was a testament to the power of community spirit and the joy that can be shared when people come together for a common cause.
