EDITOR – I am a resident living in Klopperpark and I would like to say a big thank you to the Germiston council for trying to upgrade the area.

The lamp poles have been repainted and a once open piece of ground is now beautiful.

Also, the cleaners that are always cleaning up the area again I thank you.

But as usual we have those who cannot accept anything good.

The poles that were painted are now covered with posters displaying sex and penis treatments and the newly built area as you enter Klopperpark has been damaged by heavy duty trucks.

I feel the garage owner should be held responsible as it is his business that caused the damage.

RESIDENT,

KLOPPER PARK.

EDITOR’S COMMENT – The brand management and communications department of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) commented as follows:

The patching material used was unfortunately washed away by the recent rains.

We are, however, going to re-patch the potholes upon the improvement of the weather conditions.
