Edenvale boxers Roarke Knapp, Beaven Sibanda and Tyla Promnick took to the ring at Emperors Palace during the Rivalry Reloaded Box and Dine Tournament.

The night’s bill featured Junior Super Welterweight International WBC, SA and WBA Pan African title fights.

Following his unexpected loss against Mexican Jorge Garcia Perez in June, Knapp aimed to reload his career as he headlined for the evening.

The 26-year-old South African faced the experienced Adones Cabalquinto (26-3-0) of the Philippines for the Junior Super Welterweight International belt.

During the WBC Silver Strawweight title bout South Africa’s minimum weight champion, Siyakholwa Kuse of East London stepped into the ring against Beaven Sibanda (7-0-0).

On the same night, Tyla Promnick made her professional boxing debut on the undercard of the tournament.

Fellow boxers who also train at the Brian Mitchell Boxing Academy in Edenvale, Keanu Koopman and Charlton Malajika also fought on the night.
