BSI graduate picked for US internship programme
She is one of seven BSI graduates currently on internships in the USA.
BSI Greenkeeping graduate Dianah Nambalirwa (class of 2023), has been selected for the Ohio International Turfgrass Intern Program in the USA.
Dianah, from Uganda, is working at Baltimore Country Club in Maryland, which regularly features in the top 100 clubs in USA.
“She will also get the opportunity to work at the US Women’s Open at Erin Hills GC in Wisconsin next month.”

The programme, run by Ohio State University, is designed to take young greenkeepers beyond the fundamentals of turfgrass management and provide them with the in-depth training and experience necessary to become a world-class golf course superintendent,” said BSI marketer, Roger King.
She is one of seven BSI graduates currently on internships in the USA.
“At least three of our graduates have settled permanently in the USA.
“We look forward to many more of our Greenkeeping graduates enrolling on the Ohio International Turfgrass Intern Program in the future,” added King.
