Edenvale karateka strikes gold and earns SA colours in Durban
Cristiano Coelho claimed gold in the boy cadets kata event at the KSA Open Championships and was awarded his SA colours. He will represent South Africa at the Premier Youth League in Dubai next year.
Edenvale karateka Cristiano Coelho recently competed at the Karate South Africa Open Championships, in Durban.
Coelho achieved a gold medal for kata in the boy cadets 14-15 years age group.

He also received his SA colours for karate at the KSA 2025 awards dinner banquet.
Coelho was selected as part of the South African national team to compete at the Premier Youth League in February 2026 in Dubai.
