Edenvale bowlers raise funds and pet food for local SPCA
Members of Edenvale and Jeppe Quondam Bowls Clubs joined forces for the Bowling for a Cause initiative, donating cash and pet supplies to the Edenvale SPCA.
Bowlers came together for fun and games as well as a good cause at Edenvale Bowling Club when they raised donations for Edenvale SPCA.
Held on October 22, the event saw bowlers from Jeppe Quondam Bowls Club and Edenvale Bowls Club face off under the banner Bowling for a Cause.
The concept was conceived by local financial adviser Vernon Cloete as a way of giving back to the community.

The initiative will take place over a series of eight weeks and hopes to assist various organisations in the community.
Edenvale SPCA received R720 in cash and a supply of assorted dog and cat food.
