LMS in full swing
The fast-paced games of the Last Man Stands (LMS) cricket league are proving to be popular, with action-packed weekends being the order of the sport.
The LMS league attracts players from Bedfordview, Edenvale and Kensington.
The league table between all three divisions has started settling down, but with nine rounds to go, it’s still too early in the race to decide on an outright winner.
The Division 1 leader is currently the Green Mambas. The team has not lost a single game yet, beating JDK Invaders on November 10 with a single on the last ball.
Leading Division 2 is the Deadbeats, with new members adding good bowling and batting strength to the team.
The Division 3 champions are the Rubber Duckz. The team has yet to suffer any losses.
