Tennis star in the making

Up-and-coming tennis star, Maja Gledic, recently jetted off to Malaysia where she competed as part of the South African Junior Schools’ team.

Maja (13) currently lives in Bedfordview and is a pupil at Reddam House.

She currently holds fourth position on the South African U/14 National Rankings and represented Gauteng Central as the number one player at a recent inter-provincial school trial in Bloemfontein, competing for her position on the SA Schools’ team.

Aside from her many victories on the SA junior U/14 circuit, Maja recently won the Mini-Masters U/16’s tournament in Pretoria.

Maja is also a member of the River Ridge Tennis Club in Edenvale and won this year’s Ladies Open Singles Championships.
