Brothers take part in ringball event
The day saw the display and introduction of ringball in an attempt to promote ringball internationally.
The Arnold Classic Africa Multi-Sports events, held at the Sandton Convention Centre on May 27 to 29, saw a large attendance of athletes and a ringball demonstration.
The event also attracted Edenvale residents Jason and Matthew Vosloo.
The day saw the display and introduction of ringball in an attempt to promote ringball internationally, and have greater involvement in the multi-sports event. Approximately 10 500 athletes participated at the event.
The teams that participated in the ringball display matches consisted of age groups from U/13 up to Masters. Edenvale’s Jason and Matthew Vosloo were part of the U/15 team.
The two brothers have previously both won bronze medals at the Ringball National Championships.
