Swimmers bring home medals
The swimmers swam incredible personal best times qualifying for SA Nationals, SA Youth Nationals as well as SA Junior Nationals.
St Andrew’s Dragons swimmers competed in the prestigious Seagulls Gala, held at the Kings Park Swimming Pool in Durban from October 6 to 9.

“Our swimmers swam against South Africa’s finest, obtaining medals of their own. We are exceptionally proud of all our swimmers,” said Ms Lisa Trollope.
Brenden Crawford swam to a gold medal in the men’s open category, beating Ayrton Sweeney in the 50m breaststroke.
He also received a silver medal for the 100m breaststroke and a bronze medal for the 200m breaststroke.
Yasmin De Goede obtained a bronze medal for the girls 11 to 12 year old 200m individual medley, while Mitchel Sinclair took home a bronze medal for the 400m individual medley in the men’s open category.
“Jayden Trollope took home a bronze for the boys 13 to 14 years 100m breaststroke, while Jessica Whelan continued to fly the Dragons’ flag high by getting a gold medal in the women’s open 400m individual medley, a silver medal in the 800m freestyle and a bronze in the 100m freestyle,” said Ms Trollope.
