Boxers go toe to toe in Edenvale
In the final match for the evening, Kalombo defeated Mhlongo in a fifth-round knockout.
Boxers from across South Africa flocked to Edenvale for a boxing tournament hosted by Real Steel Promotions on March 23.

The tournament hosted at the Edenvale Community Centre drew boxing fans from far and wide to attend the tournament.
Eight matches were held on the evening.

Boxers who fought on the evening leading up to the drawcard match between Emmany “The General” Kalombo and Nkululeko “The Bulldog” Mhlongo included;
• Jabulani Makhense vs Byson Gwayani.
• Akani Phuzi vs Beleskay Mukanya.
• Etienne van Niekerk vs Vusi Bilankulu.
• Mark Farah vs Hanru Botha.
• Chris Thompson vs Mduduzi Moyo.
• Denis Mwale vs Brandon Naude.
• Jackson Chauke vs Sihle Jelwana.

Earlier in March, Mhlongo confidently said “I have boxed against power and experience. I know what I can take and what I can deliver.”
