Jeppe rugby players overwhelm Pretoria
Jeppe High School for Boys managed to maintain its winning streak in a game against Pretoria Boys High School last week, during a winter sports festival.
The festival consisted of 16 hockey and 22 rugby matches on the day.
The day ended on a superb note for Jeppe rugby players, as they took home the victory with a final score of 37-24, with Tyrone Green scoring two of the tries.
This was the team’s fourth consecutive win. In total, the team has won eight out of its 10 matches played so far.
Further results for the school included the U/15A team, winning 34-5 on Saturday, while the U/14 A team beat Pretoria 39-0.
Jeppe‘s first hockey team lost 2-1 in a close encounter, while the U/16A and U/14A teams won.
