Blues succeed at drummies championship
Edenglen's drummies competed in various categories in the Elite league and achieved fifth place out of the final 12 teams.
The Edenglen High School drummies team, the Blues, recently competed in the South African National Championships (SAMCA Championships).
The championships were held in Durban between July 9 and 16.
At the championship, teams from around the country compete against each other.
The Blues came out in the top five out of over 100 teams.
Edenglen’s drummies competed in various categories in the Elite league and achieved fifth place out of the final 12 teams.
The leader of the team, Jaydeane Lambert, finished first in the leader category.
Jaydeane also placed first in the small drill as well as the large drill.
She achieved the tile of National Champion leader of 2017.
