Swimming results from Central Gauteng Aquatics Open
The event took place in Sunninghill from July 21 to 23
St Andrew’s School for Girls learners Erin Anderson, Jenna Pearse, Lize-Mari de Beer, Erin Graham, and Mia Wildman participated in the Central Gauteng Aquatics (CGA) Senior Short Course Open 2017 at Wahoo Aquatic Centre.
The event took place in Sunninghill from July 21 to 23.
Anderson, a Grade Twelve learner, finished in first place in the 200m breaststroke, second in the 100m butterfly, third place in 200m individual medley, fourth place in 100m breaststroke and first place in the 200m individual medley relay.
Pearse, in Grade Eleven, finished in first place in the 100m freestyle, first in the 200m freestyle, second place in 50m freestyle, second in 100m butterfly, first in the 200m freestyle relay and first in the 200m medley relay.
De Beer, a Grade Eleven learner, finished in first place in the 50m freestyle, third in 200m freestyle and fifth in the 100m butterfly.
Grade Ten learner Graham, finished in third place in 50m breaststroke, fourth in the 100m breaststroke, seventh in the 100m freestyle and eighth in the 50m freestyle.
Wildman, in Grade Nine, finished in third place in the 50m breaststroke and ninth in the 100m freestyle.
