Grade Eights take to the pool

Edenglen High School held its annual Grade Eight inter-house gala on January 10 at Edenvale Public Pool.

Accompanied by teachers and leaders, the new Grade Eights marched approximately 2km down the road to the pool.

This is a tradition that has been done at Edenglen High for many years.

Although Edenglen High does not have a pool on site, swimming is made a priority as a school sport.

The best overall boy and girl of the gala was Michael Ball and Kiara Greyling.

Principal Trevor Weinerlein did a lap in the pool with the leaders who helped the Grade Eights during the gala.
