St Andrew’s persevere through rowing season

The senior St Andrew's School for Girls have set high standards for the other crews, leading by shining example.

The rowing season ended on a phenomenal note with the St Andrew’s School for Girls rowing team taking second place overall at the South African School’s Rowing Championships 2019 recently.

The overall championship trophies were awarded as follows to the respective crews in their categories; u-14 – third place, u-15 – first place, u-16 – second place, and the opens took first place.

The u-14 team won silver at the SA Rowing Championships.

The first quad gave a stellar finishing performance in the finals, despite the disappointment of narrowly missing the first place.

Taniel Stroud won silver in u-14 category.
The open team won gold in the junior women’s fours category.
The u-14 doubles won silver in their category.
The open team who won first place in their category.
