Holy Rosary’s Jade represents Gauteng at Regatta

If successful at the trials, Jade will compete in the World Rowing Junior Championships in Tokyo in August.

Holy Rosary High School learner Jade Alves took to the water when she represented Gauteng at the South African national championships rowing regatta.

She raced in the pair and the double categories with Storme Buckle from St Andrew’s School for Girls over the weekend of May 4 and 5.

On the weekend of May 11 and 12 Jade participated in the South African national trials where she hopes to qualify for the SA junior national rowing squad.

If successful at the trials Jade will compete in the World Rowing Junior Championships in Tokyo in August.
