Child welfare holds party for children

Cloverdene-based Eco Tree Farm hosted children from the Boksburg Child Welfare from the Reiger Park satellite office.

The non-profit organisation held their graduation and Christmas party on November 24.

“The idea was to take the children to a new environment, especially since we are closing today,” said Vanessa Naidoo-Pillay, director of the organisation.

Naidoo-Pillay said the children who graduated are five years old and set to begin “big school” the following year.

The children had lunch and each received a gift from Santa Shoebox.
