Winter Choral festival a success
St Dunstan’s College hosted its first Winter Festival of Choral Music on July 17, at the Northfield Methodist Church.

The St Dunstan’s College Senior Choir entertained the audience, together with the Holy Rosary Senior Choir, St Dominic’s Senior Choir, Melomania Vocal Waves and guest choir, the Cenestra Male Choir.
The various choirs serenaded the crowd and surprised the audience when they formed a massed choir of 180 choristers.
Opera singer Lucky Sibanda sang a solo piece and also collaborated with the massed choir.
“The concert was received with huge audience acclaim and praise, and will definitely become an annual event – next year with even more choirs participating,” said Denise Roderick, St Dunstan’s College’s director of music.
