Local company makes the cut
Northmead-based HR consultancy firm, Veld Cooper and Associates, appeared on ETV's reality show, It's My Biz, on August 8.
The company, which has more than 450 clients nationally, was selected ahead of 1 500 other firms to make an appearance on the show.
It’s My Biz, a Nedbank initiative, allows respected business persons the opportunity to disseminate their knowledge to the minds of entrepreneurs to make greater successes of their businesses.
The company’s director Hayley Hynd was thrilled to have the company appear on the show.
“I am exceptionally proud of everyone who has worked so hard to get the company where it is today, and to be selected for a national television show that focuses purely on small businesses with the greatest potential for growth and future success is an amazing achievement,” said Hynd.
She says the tips acquired have been invaluable.
She has learned how to improve her company’s online presence, the importance of networking, keeping up with local trends and giving back to the community.
